We built the Johnny Rocket wakeboard to take pro team rider John Dreiling to the moon. John has gapped farther, ridden faster, and gone wilder than anyone on the team, earning himself a ROTY award in the process. His board, the Johnny Rocket, comes with the perfect balance of durability, flexibility, traction, and freedom. You can press it hard, send it far, and take it to the boat to get creative on any size wake with the addition of our standard wake fins. This board is all-terrain at its finest and has been put through one of the toughest testing processes of any board in the lineup.

The Johnny Rocket wakeboard is built for riders who don’t hold back in the park and for cable riders who may even sneak in a boat session from time to time. This board is made to go big and hit hard in the park, leaving no obstacle untouched. NEW for 2025, the Johnny Rocket comes in a full size range from 139 to 151 cm, so riders of all sizes can reach new heights.

Single-Shot Sidewalls

Our innovative manufacturing process literally infuses the rail into the core of the board in a single shot, eliminating the need for fasteners or staples, producing unrivaled dampening and durability.

Atomic Wood Core

Vertically laminated wood core construction gives Slingshot boards their signature flex performance. It’s lightweight and durable, delivering superior pop, rebound, and that magical feeling in the park.

Ballistic Base

With 0.7 mm of bulletproof protection between your board and the surfaces you’re sliding across, this base layer is ready for battle. Tested daily by some of the most daring park riders in the game.

Carbon Bedrock Inserts

Light, flexible, and super strong. Reduces overall board weight, increases pull strength, and allows for a more consistent flex under foot.

Continuous Rocker Profile

This continuous curve equates to faster board speed on the water, allowing you to ride for longer periods of time with less arm fatigue and delivering an exciting, fast, and fun feel.

Belly Channels

Provides added stability and confidence when approaching the wake or obstacles, along with more effortless edge control.

Elliptical Concave

Elliptical Concave in the tips and tails creates more excitement when flowing from rail to rail on the water and also helps riders hold nose and tail presses as the tips wrap around rounded sliding surfaces.
